Whyte Series F - WFTX3-G1 HP (Wideband High Power 23dBm Fibre Transmitter VHT)
The Whyte WFTX3-G1 HP, the industry’s first compact, high-power 23dBm Optical Transmitter that requires neither 19” rack mounting nor active fan cooling. Designed with passive cooling, this transmitter is perfect for riser environments where space is limited. With a powerful 23dBm optical output, it easily supports large-scale Fibre IRS systems up to 1024-Way splits. Quick to install, the WFTX3-G1 HP comes complete with the WPSU-19.5V power supply for added convenience.
The WFTX3-G1 HP Optical Fibre Transmitter delivers a high-performance and reliable solution for Fibre IRS applications. Each input is equipped with its own dedicated laser, and all signals are combined using CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) into a single optical output. This design minimises signal loss and ensures optimal quality. The Vertical and Horizontal SAT inputs are compatible with all Wideband LNBs, accepting signals from 290MHz to 2340MHz, while the TERR input (47MHz to 862MHz) supports FM, DAB, and DTT services.
Packed with advanced features, the WFTX3-G1 HP includes DC input and output, individual Laser On/Off switches for the V, H, and TERR inputs, and Variable Slope Control for precise signal adjustment. It also features a Masthead Power switch for enabling or disabling 12V DC at the TERR RF input.
When used in conjunction with other products from the Whyte Series F range, the WFTX3-G1 HP enables robust and scalable FTTH (Fibre to the Home), FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet), and FTTB (Fibre to the Block) Fibre IRS deployments.
