Whyte Fibre Mechanical Splice (WFMS-PK5)
The WFMS-PK5 Whyte optical mechanical splice is used for mechanical connection of optical fibres of 250μm to 900μm. It is filled with a special gel with the same refractive index as glass. These mechanical fibre splices allow for a quick and stable connection of two optical fibres.
The WFMS-PK5 is a mechanical splice provides a low loss inexpensive and quick alternative to fusion splicing.
